The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a gas smell at 9:51 p.m. Tuesday on 170 Hwy. 84 East. No injuries were reported and the gas smell was resolved.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported no activity Tuesday.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 16 calls Tuesday. Seven were transfers, with four to Jackson, two to the city and one to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. There were nine emergency calls; four medical, with two in the city and two in the county; four traumas, with two in the city and two in the county; and one MVA in the city.
