Funeral services for Ronnie Joe Watts, of Brookhaven, are today Jan. 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, from 5 until 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Watts, 74, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 13, 1942. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death are his wife, Pam Watts; parents, Zollie Watts and Anna Smith Watts; brothers Roland Watts and Russell Watts; sister, Maxine Mitchell; grandson, Ethan Alford; brother-in-law, Jock Grantham; niece, Brenda Watts White; and great-niece, Zayleigh Perdue.
Survivors are his wife, Gena Kaye Watts; sons, Harvey Alford (Sandra), Gary Alford (Cindy), Ronnie Wells, Donnie Wells and Daniel Staggs; daughters, Judy Lynn Smith (Van), Tammy Parker (Lavon), Amanda Staggs, Rylee Watts, Ragen Watts and Tammie Brewer (Dennis); brothers, Raymond Watts (Faye) and Robert “Bob” Watts (Nan); sisters, Patty Bryant and Annie Ruth Welter (John); 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
