A winter storm warning is in effect for Lincoln County and the surrounding areas until midnight tonight.

A combination of sleet, snow and freezing rain will continue throughout the day. Early this evening a wintry mix will gradually transition to mostly sleet and then mostly snow ending around midnight.

Snow or sleet accumulations up to two inches are possible, which could lead to power outages.

Accumulations will create slick spots on roadways, mainly on bridges and overpasses.
