Arrest reports

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Tuesday was as follows:

• Raymond A. Jenkins, 3-30-1982, of 2538 Norton Assink Road, Wesson — arrested for shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance by the Brookhaven Police Department.

• Dorothy Smith, 6-3-1987, of 1341 Union St. Extension — arrested for aggravated assault by the BPD.

Note: An arrest does not constitute guilt for the accused. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A story published Thursday about the “Covering the Community” campaign incorrectly specified a Lincoln County family would be chosen to win a free metal roof. The winners will be chosen based on need, not location. We regret the error and are happy to set the record straight.
