The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a request for the Jaws of Life at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday on Bogue Chitto Road. The call was canceled on route. They also responded to a gas leak at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday on Evelyn Street.

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Tuesday.

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a brush fire at 2:04 p.m. Tuesday on Hwy. 27 North.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Tuesday.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M reported no activity Tuesday.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 16 calls Tuesday. Two were transfers, with one to Jackson, and one to Pike County. There were 14 emergency calls; seven medical, with three in the city and four in the county; two traumas in the city; four MVAs in the county; and one cardiac in the city.
