Funeral services for Larry Gene Keene are today at 1 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in East Lincoln Community. Bro. Randy Davis will officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is was Tues, Aug. 16, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home and will continue today from noon untilthe time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Keene, 67, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born Feb. 22, 1949, in Brookhaven to Willie E. and Nonnee Rushing Keene.

He was a retired loan manager from Commercial Credit in Brookhaven. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoors, pool and socializing. He was a loving son, brother, grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents Willie E. and Nonnee Rushing Keene.

Survivors are his son, Dustin Keene and wife, Carol, of Brookhaven, and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; brothers, James D. Keene and wife, Sylvia, of Brookhaven, Donald E. Keene and wife, Hannah, of Brookhaven, and Martin K. Keene and wife, Debbie, of Brookhaven; sister, Diane Keene Harris, of Brookhaven; grandchild, Diane Hunter Keene; step-grandchildren, Justin Allbritton and Emily Allbritton; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
