A crane was needed to set upright an overturned truck filled with wood chips earlier today.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Cpl. Brandon Fortenberry said the driver was yielding onto Hwy 184 off of Hwy. 84 traveling west into Silver Creek about 9:10 a.m. today when the weight of the wood chips shifted and caused the truck and trailer to roll over onto its side.

The driver, who has not been identified, was taken to King’s Daughter Medical Center with minor injuries, he said.

The road was closed for about two hours.
