Funeral services for Beth Nevels Smith of Wesson will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Union Church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday, June 13, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Riverwood.

Mrs. Smith, 55, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Lincoln County. She was born Sept. 7, 2016, in Brookhaven.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her father, Robert E. “Bob” Nevels.

Survivors are her husband, Oscar O. Smith Jr.; son, Oscar O. “Trey” Smith III; daughters, Kate Smith and husband, Owen and Anna Claire Smith Hamilton; mother, Bobbie L. Nevels; sister, Cathy L. Nevels; three grandchildren, Braydon Smith, Britt Smith, and Eva Claire Hamilton; and her special pet, “Aussie.”
