Men indicted for burglaries, assaults

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, in coordination with the District Attorney’s office, has served several indictments from the most recent grand jury session in April. Included are indictments for aggravated assault, burglary, robbery and shooting into a dwelling.
When the grand jury agrees the evidence is sufficient to establish the commission of a crime, it returns an indictment endorsed by the grand jury foreman with the phrase “true bill” to indicate the information presented is sufficient to justify the trial of the suspect. Indictments are made public once they are served.
Jonathan Denzelle Crenshaw
Jonathan Denzelle Crenshaw, 24, of 804 Washington St., was indicted for aggravated assault.
Crenshaw’s indictment alleges that on or about Jan. 1, Crenshaw did willfully, unlawfully, feloniously and purposely attempt to cause bodily injury to Tyrone Kentel Wilson by shooting him in the back of his right leg with a deadly weapon.
The indictment also states that Crenshaw did willfully, unlawfully and feloniously have in his possession a firearm at a time when he had previously been convicted.
Bob T. Henderson
Bob T. Henderson, 29, of 105 Furr Ave., was indicted for aggravated assault.
Henderson’s indictment alleges that on or about Nov. 3, 2015, Henderson did willfully, unlawfully, feloniously and purposely attempt to cause bodily injury to Willie Sinclair by shooting at him with a handgun.
Anthony K. Knox III
Anthony K. Knox III, 27, of 1857 Parhill Lane, Bogue Chitto, was indicted on eight counts of burglary of an automobile.
Knox’s indictment alleges that on or about Aug. 9, 2015, Knox did willfully, unlawfully, feloniously and burglariously break and enter a 2008 Ford Expedition, registered to Gary Boutwell; a 2006 GMC Yukon, registered to Joshua A. Jordan; a 2014 Chevrolet motor vehicle, registered to Jerry B. Case; a 2010 Toyota Camry, registered to Kariean Patterson; a 2009 Pontiac G8, registered to John Salyer; a 2010 Mercedes Benz, registered to Smith Insurance Agency; a 2011 Toyota Camry, registered to Allison or Mitchell Wise; and a 2006 Infinity G35, registered to James A. Hickman, in which valuable things were being kept for said person’s use.
The following indictments have also been served:
• Paul Antonio Graham for unlawful possession of at least two but less than 10 grams of cocaine.
• Benjamin Williams for conspiracy to commit grand larceny, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary of a building and burglary of a building.
• Ricardo M. Smith for the unlawful sale of less than two grams of methamphetamine.
• Ronald Carl Menke for unlawful possession of more than one kilograms of marijuana with intent to distribute.
• Nathan Davis for unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.
• Thomas L. Allen for the unlawful sale of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine.
• Ashdon Brister for conspiracy, burglary of a dwelling, conspiracy to commit burglary of a building and burglary of a building.
• Anthony S. Duchesne for the unlawful possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and two counts of the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
• Pierre Thomas III for the unlawful possession of at least 30 grams but less than 250 grams of marijuana.
• William Woolfolk Reed for the unlawful possession of at least 30 but less than 250 grams of marijuana.
• Jaymon D. Nunnery for sexual battery.
• Lawrence Wilson for conspiracy and burglary of a dwelling.
• Thomas L. Allen for conspiracy to possess at least 10 but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of at least 10 but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine with intent to sell, the unlawful possession of less than two grams of cocaine with intent to sell and the possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana with intent to sell.
• Emily J. Anderton for conspiracy to possess at least 10 but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
• John J. Harrell for conspiracy to possess at least 10 but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of at least 10 but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine with intent to sell, the unlawful possession of at less than 2 grams of cocaine with intent to sell and the possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana with intent to sell.
• Christopher Gerald for conspiracy to sell five dosage units of fentanyl and the unlawful sale of five dosage units of fentanyl.
• Rashad J. Smith for bringing a controlled substance into a jail.
• Donny Wilson for tax evasion.
• Derek A. Dufrene for the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.
• Jhirmack Fonte Smith for conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery.
• Zikiece Z. Smith for conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery.
• George Albert Hudson Sr. for the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
• Jimmy Waylon Douglas for aggravated assault and the unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
• Benjamin R. Williams for shooting into a dwelling.
• Willie E. Woods Jr., for the unlawful sale of at least 10 but less than 20 dosage units of hydrocodone and the unlawful sale of less than 30 grams of marijuana.
• William C. Frazier for the unlawful possession of at least one-tenth but less than 20 grams of methamphetamine and the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
• Levi Dillon Lee for driving under the influence third offense.
