Funeral services for Barney Joe Sisco of Brookhaven will be Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with burial at Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Matthew Green and Bro. Huey Moak will officiate and Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation is Monday, May 2, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of service at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Sisco, 74, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his residence. He was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Lincoln County to Elmer Clay and Audrey Lee Temple Sisco. He worked for many years as an assembly line worker at Delphi Corporation in Brookhaven. He enjoyed growing plants and gardens, fishing and his farm animals. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Kenneth L Sisco; sisters, Helen Sisco Rawls and Gloria Sisco Shreck; brother, Carroll Sisco; and grandchildren, Atlanta Lanelle Sisco and Brandon Sisco.

Survivors are his wife, Frances M. Sisco; daughter, Tonya Sisco Fortson of Brookhaven; sons, Eric C Sisco and wife, Kimberly, of Canon City, Colorado, Ralph Case and wife, Robin, of Bogue Chitto and Paul Case and wife, Tanya, of Bogue Chitto; brothers, Hollis Sisco and Willie Sisco; sisters, Janet Sisco Lupo, Joyce Sisco Brown, Shirley Sisco Calcote, Patsy Sisco Fillabaum, Lexine Sisco Freedman and Judy Sisco Wall; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Sisco’s name may be made to: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Baptist Children’s Village.
