Bogue Chitto looking for win No. 2

Bogue Chitto (1-8, 1-4), coached by Gareth Sartin, took on a strong, undefeated Resurrection Catholic team and fell 55-0 in Pascagoula Friday.
This week, the Bobcats will continue their road tour as they visit Hattiesburg to battle the Sacred Heart Crusaders.
The Crusaders (2-7, 1-4), coached by Lonny Schraeder, are currently on a five-game losing streak after falling to Richton 58-27 Friday.
BC’s top offensive performer against Resurrection was Kobe Roberts with eight rushes for 43 yards. Sherman Jackson finished with 23 yards rushing on five carries.
Conner Douglas completed 2-of-8 passes for 19 yards. Trey Nettles was the top receiver for BC with one catch for 12 yards. Dee Dillon caught a pass for seven yards.
Defensively, Kolby Halford directed the Bobcats with eight tackles. Roberts contributed six tackles. Terrance Morgan, Trey Nettles and Brandon Blackwell provided three tackles each.
Last year, Sacred Heart blanked Bogue Chitto 14-0 at Troy Smith Field.
My prediction: Crusaders win 21-16.
