Wesson (2-2), coached by Ronald Greer, traveled to Seminary last week and suffered a tough 30-12 loss to the Bulldogs.
This week, the Cobras are looking to secure a homecoming win when they entertain the Raymond Rangers.
The Rangers (0-4), coached by Tony Blackshear, are searching for their first win of the season after falling to Morton 25-0 last week.
Wesson’s top offensive performer last week against Seminary was Peyton Burns. He completed 8-of-26 passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
Cornelius Barlow led all receivers with seven catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensively, Cornelius Barlow and Tre Glasper powered Wesson with eight tackles each. Jeremiah Stapleton and Jamarcus Patterson had seven tackles each and Stapleton had a fumble recovery.
My prediction: The Cobras will win 32-24.
