The Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department’s flag football program was well underway Monday afternoon for The Saints practice on the grounds of the Lincoln Civic Center. Head Coach Brett Smith and Assistant Coach Dallas Linton (pictured, in grey) teach their 7- to 9-year-old Saints how to march in and much more. Between 100 and 150 kids signed up, and the first flag football game will be Sept. 8.
