Funeral Services for John Neal Hall are 2 p.m., Monday Aug. 17, at Moaks Creek Baptist Church with burial at the Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 until 9 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 16 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service. He will lie in state at the church from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Hall, 85, of Bogue Chitto, died Aug. 14, 2015.

He was born on April 19, 1930 to Bennie and Clara Hall.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Moaks Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Weames Hall, Prentiss Hall, Larry Hall, John Henry Hall and Bennie Hall Jr.; sister, Tillithia Hall Moak; half-sisters, Mamie Pat Jennings and Nancy Peyreagne.

Survivors are his wife Earline Gatlin Hall; sons Kenneth L. Hall and wife, Judy, of Gulf Shores, Alabama; Johnny Ray Hall and wife, Brenda, of Bogue Chitto and Gary N. Hall of Bogue Chitto; brothers, John Hugh Mathis, Quincy Hall and Jimbo Hall; sisters Essie Ann McKay, Bennie Lou Blakney, Earline Carlisle, Margaret Williams, Rita Hall, Gloria Mercier, Martha Avants and Hattie Morris; seven grandchildren, Emily Hall, Sara Hall Renfroe and husband, Dillon, Tressie Hall Durr and husband, William, Briana Hall Price, Stuart Hall and wife, Sarabeth, Hayley Hall Deer and husband, Matt, and Collin Hall; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Loretta Hall and Debbie Hall; brothers-in-law, Lee Edward Gatlin and wife, Ernestine, Charles Gatlin and wife, Betty, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the general fund at Moaks Creek Baptist Church.
