JACKSON – Dr. A.L. Lott’s All-Star team competed in the State Little League International World Series Tournament for the first time last week.

Dr. Lott’s 11-and 12 year-old All-Stars suffered two tough losses in their debut in the double elimination tournament.

Dr. Lott’s All-Stars were defeated by Starkville 30-2 in Wednesday’s contest and in Thursday’s game, the All-Stars were eliminated by Natchez 6-5.

The members who were selected for the first ever Dr. A.L. Lott All-Star team were: Ke’Jharin Beasley of 1055 Music LLC, Jervonte Scarbrough of Magnolia Graphics, Octavian Culver of Elks Lodge, Derico Cain of Tyler, Latroy Campbell of Magnolia Graphics, Amareon Dunnigan of Magnolia Graphics, Ladarrus Gilmore of Tip-Toe Express, Austin Henderson of Magnolia Graphics, Jakobe Kelly of Elks Lodge, Javian Kelly of Elks Lodge, Kemon Funchess of Tyler, Quartez Osborne of Elks Lodge, Gerrick Harris of Tyler and Jakar Lyons of Elks Lodge.
