Loyd Star defeated Enterprise 6-1 in a Thursday tennis match at the Brookhaven City Courts.

The Hornets posted victories in girls singles, boys singles, No. 1 and No. 2 girls doubles, No 1 boys doubles and mixed doubles action.

Connor Crosby won the boys singles match, Ashlyn Locke wins the girls singles win and finished 4-0 in district matches, Cole Moak and Blayne Brister won in No. 1 boys doubles and finished 4-0 in district matches, Caylee Grace Yarborough and Faith Bergeron won in No. 1 girls doubles mactch, Toni Banks and Jordan Shelby clinched No. 2 girls doubles contest and with a perfect 4-0 season in district, Madisyn and Bryson capture the victory in mixed doubles.

Enterprise captured their only win in No. 2 boys doubles.

In junior varsity action,  Lani Smith and Anna Thomas won in JV girls doubles action, Reid Butler won in JV boys singles, and Morgyn Brister won JV girls singles

The Hornets will play their last regular season contest Tuesday against the Franklin County Bulldogs at the Brookhaven City Courts. Matches begin at 4 p.m..

Enterprise will be in action Monday as they battle the West Lincoln Bears at the Brookhaven Country Club. Matches are set to begin at 4 p.m.
