The Enterprise Yellow Jackets suffered a hard 12-0 loss in Saturday baseball action to the Natchez Cathedral Green Wave.
“We were not ready to play today,” Enterprise Coach Cass Brister said. “All phases of the game, we were horrible. I take full responsibility for not having my guys prepared enough. We must make adjustments because we have district games that we must win this week.”
The Jackets (5-5, 2-0) will be looking to get back on the winning track as they prepare to travel to Bassfield to take on the Bassfield Yellowjackets for a big Region 7-2A test Tuesday. Junior varsity action begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.
