Funeral Services for Wisie Allen Jackson of Brookhaven are noon on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Riverwood Family Funeral Services with burial in New Sight Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, from 10 until time of service at Riverwood Family Funeral Services.

Mrs. Jackson, 93, died Feb. 9, 2015, at Silver Cross Home. She was born on Aug. 28, 1921, to Lonnie Allen and Elzodia Smith Allen.

She was active as a soloist in Easthaven Baptist Church for many years. She loved cooking for her family, gardening, church and being with her loved ones especially traveling with her daughter.

She was a member of New Sight Baptist Church and worked at Stahl Urban for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, C.L. Jackson in June of 2012; sisters, Winnie Covington, Fannie Mae Jackson, Myrtis Robertson, Ann Smith; and brothers, Lloyd Allen and Percy Allen.

Survivors are her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Jackson Richardson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
