CARRIERE – The Brookhaven Panthers were victorious 52-37 against the Pearl River Central Lady Blue Devils last Friday night in Region 6-5A basketball action.

Brookhaven will be in action tonight as they face the Wingfield Falcon for another big division test. The girls’ game tips off at 6 p.m., followed by the boys.

The Panthers and the Lady Panthers will also be celebrating Senior Night tonight at Sinclair Gymnasium.

The Lady Panthers captured the fourth win of the season and second place in Region 6-5A action with the win over the Lady Blue Devils.

Brookhaven outscored PRC 22-15 in the first half and hammed the Lady Blue Devils 30-22 in the final two quarters.

Kynitria Hill powered the Lady Panthers with a double-double performance of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Arnancy Arnold and Chantel Quarles contributed 12 points each. Quarles helped on the boards with seven rebounds.

Kim Gutierrez paced the Lady Blue Devils with 14 points. Brandi Lee chipped in with 10 points.
