Funeral Services for Charles Ronnie case of McCall Creek are at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 8, at Concord Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation was Feb. 6, Friday, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home and will continue on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with services to follow.
Mr. Case, 63, died Feb. 6, 2015, at his residence. He was born on April 11 in 1951 to Charles Millard Case and Dora Jean Smith Case.
“Ronnie,” as he was known, owned and operated Case Trucking in McCall Creek where he transported wood products all over the Southeastern United States. Case had recently retired. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church where he faithfully served as a deacon for many years
Ronnie was “God Gifted” with a beautiful voice and well known for his piano playing abilities. He loved to sing traditional hymns and Southern Gospel. He blessed the hearts of many through the years, as he, his mother, his father and three brothers, “The Case Family”, were called upon many times to sing at church homecomings, dinner on the grounds and special events. He always took the time to gather children and adults around the piano to sing and have a fun time.
Ronnie loved life. He touched many with his smile and personality. He will be deeply missed.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother John “Johnny” William Case.
Survivors are his wife of forty-four years, Cheryl of McCall Creek, MS; sons, Scotty Case and wife Jennifer of Calhoun, LA, Kevin Case and wife Sally of McCall Creek, MS; brothers, Thomas Earl Case and wife Phyllis of Bude, MS and James Ralph Case of McCall Creek, MS; grandchildren, Victor Case, Alyssa Case, Brianna Case, and Shelly Case, and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Erik Case, Zac Case, Chris Case, Dustin Case, Ryan Case, Adam Case, Landon Burr, and Tommy Ray Smith.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital at 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
