Early Thursday morning Donald Luvell Comans, 35, of 3060 Smithdale, in Lincoln county died in a single-car accident north of Interstate 55 heading south bound on Highway 27.

Copiah County Coroner Ellis Stuart said that Comans was unrestrained and ran off the road hitting a group of trees.

Stuart said the accident mostly likely happened around midnight or 1 a.m., but the car was not found until 7 a.m.
