CRYSTAL SPRINGS – The Lady Cobras traveled up Highway 51 to Crystal Springs and crushed the Lady Tigers 19-0 Tuesday night.

Wesson took command of the contest early in the first inning and held the Lady Tigers for a quick three-inning game.

Wesson will host Hazlehurst Thursday for a big Region 7-3A test against the Lady Indians. JV game time begins at 5 p.m. and varsity plays at 6 p.m.

Wesson 19, Crystal Springs 0 

The Lady Cobras defeated the Lady Tigers in a 19-0 win. Wesson controlled the game by filling up the bases with strategic hits and errors by Crystal Springs.

Brooke Jones (RBI-2) and Aurianna Vaughn (RBI-3) both got 3 singles each. Kaitlyn Smith had a double and single and Harmoni Ashley hit a huge triple with 2 RBI’s.

The Cobras ruled the field too by not allowing the Lady Tigers make it to first base with three up, three down each inning.
