Otis Richard Sebren

Visitation for Otis Richard Sebren of Union Church is Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and again on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, from 10 until 11 a.m. with services following. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sebren, 89, died Aug. 25, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 10, 1925, to Annie Mae and Richard N. Sebren.

Mr. Sebren was a deacon at several Baptist churches in communities he resided in and was currently a member of Union Church Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Homer, Bill, Wilburn, John and Roy; sister, Lula Mae; and son-in-law, Roger Dale Cole.

Survivors are his wife of 68 years, Lenora Earleen West; daughter, Patricia; grandsons, Richard Cole (Virginia), Edward Cole (Julia) and Joey Cole; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Cole, Victoria Cole and Matthew Roberts; several step great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; two sisters, Mavis Fortenberry of Silver Creek and Hazel Anderson (James) of Georgetown; and many nieces and nephews.

The family greatly appreciates all our friends and church families as well as Hospice Ministries, without, whose help his last days could not have been spent with his family.
