3 SMCC students named to Phi Theta Kappa Academic Team

- PHOTO SUBMITTED Three Southwest Mississippi Community College Phi Theta Kappa members were named to the PTK All-Mississippi Community and Junior College Academic Team, including Noah Sutton of McComb and Samia Tate of Bogue Chitto. Sutton was named All-Mississippi First Team SMCC Transfer Pathway recipient. Tate received the SMCC Workforce Pathway Second Team Designation. Megan Rush of Summit was recently elected to membership in The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at The University of Mississippi.
Laura Dornshuld of Summit will graduate May 9 from The University of Georgia with a PhD in chemistry.
