- PHOTO BY BRETT CAMPBELL Lincoln County District 2 workers fill in large potholes at the intersection of Old Hwy. 51 N and Smith Lake Road. The equipment being used is a Cimline Two-Person Patcher, which delivers aggregate and emulsion to permanently patch holes. The process of filling each hole took just a few minutes, and surfaces could be walked on or driven over immediately afterward. Each district has use of these machines, and the City Street Department is looking into the possible purchase of one for use within the City of Brookhaven.
