Brookhaven Street Department crews are working on portions of South Jackson Street and West Cherokee Street today.

South Jackson Street is blocked off for two blocks, from West Chickasaw south to West Minnesota. West Cherokee is cordoned off for a portion of the block in front of First United Methodist Church and the U.S. Post Office.

While the businesses and doctor’s office on these blocks are still accessible, customers and patients may need to approach from a different direction and park a little further away than customary.
