Bank of Brookhaven has named a new Chief Financial Officer and a new Executive Vice President. Board Chairman Bill Sones Sr. recently made the announcements.

Jared Case has been promoted to CFO. Case has had more than seven years of banking and financial experience, all with Bank of Brookhaven. 

He is a 2019 graduate of The Mississippi School of Banking at The University of Mississippi. Case earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mississippi College in 20217, and is a 2013 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center. He is a former member of the MC basketball team.

Case is a member of the Executive Council of Mississippi Young Bankers, a section of the Mississippi Bankers Association. He is also a member and treasurer of the Brookhaven Servitium Club, and member and assistant treasurer of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Case and his wife Savanah have two children, Avery (3) and Grayson (2).

Colby Calcote has been promoted to Executive VP. Calcote has more than 23 years of experience in banking and finance. A Brookhaven native, he spent the first years of his career in Meridian, before returning to Brookhaven 10 years ago.

Calcote is a 2008 graduate of The Mississippi School of Banking at The University of Mississippi, and a 2006 graduate of Leadership Lauderdale. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2000, and an Associate of Arts from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in 1998. Calcote is a 1996 alum of Loyd Star High School. He is a former member of the Co-Lin and USM baseball teams.

Calcote serves as president of the Co-Lin Athletic Alumni Association; a member of the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; member and former president of the Brookhaven Servitium Club; member and former president of the Krewe of Ceres; former member of the Brookhaven Academy Education Foundation Board of Directors; former member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Finance Council; and former member of the Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi Board of Directors.

Calcote and his wife Kathleen have two children, Wilson (17) and Camille (15), and are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven.
