BROOKHAVEN — ALDI is closer to opening its grocery store at 840 Brookway Boulevard. It is finally listed as a location on ALDI’s website and listed under the company’s grand opening tab. 

The Grand Opening page does not give a specific time, date or any other information about the Brookhaven store’s opening. Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce shared a flier stating the grand opening would be Thursday, December 12, 2024 starting at 9 a.m. Shoppers can take a tour and snag a gift bag at the grand opening. 

ALDI confirmed over the summer they would in fact sell beer. The store will sell normal groceries, fresh produce and organic foods. The company states shoppers will find over 90 percent of the product sold there are ALDI exclusive brands. This is done in an effort to provide quality products without the hidden costs in national brands.

According to ALDI’s webpage for the Brookhaven store, ALDI stores are “private-label trailblazers”.
