BROOKHAVEN — Loyd Star’s Kaylin Hester and Casen Easterling claimed medalist honors by shooting the lowest score in nine holes of golf Monday. It was hot and the course conditions were dry at the Clubs at Ole Brook.

As a team, Loyd Star took first place in the girls and boys final scores. West Lincoln, who claimed first place in boys last week, was not far behind in second place. Enterprise finished second in the girls standings.
