Lincoln County Volunteer Firefighters learned about safety and guidelines for setting up a landing zone for medical helicopters Monday evening. PHI Air Medical Services taught the class.

The helicopter crew who flew to the Lincoln County Civic Center had to leave in the middle of class for a call.  

Lincoln County is served by Bogue Chitto, East Lincoln, Heucks Retreat, Hog Chain, Loyd Star, New Sight, Ruth and Zetus Volunteer Fire Departments.
