Co-Lin receives $11,500 from GP-Monticello

Georgia-Pacific Monticello recently donated $11,500 to the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. The funds will support the Co-Lin Seawolves robotics team and the Automation and Controls Engineering Technology program.

The contribution for the Automation and Controls program will be used to add a programmable logic controller and a human-machine interface to an industrial controls trainer.

The contribution for the Seawolves will support the competitive robotics team as it designs an underwater robot for international competition. Students on the team gain skills in machining, CAD, electronics, engineering and marketing.
