Smith made five tackles and had the play of the night for the Hornet defense when he batted away a long pass on the final Enterprise possession of a 35-32 win for Loyd Star. Moments before, he’d saved the game on the offensive side of the ball for Loyd Star by hauling in a touchdown pass that gave the Hornets the win.
