BROOKHAVEN — People were waiting outside Vintage Style on Monticello Street in Downton Brookhaven 20 minutes before the doors were set to open on Girls Night Out. A new coffee shop and mercantile store, Vintage Style offers cold brews, hot lattes, pastries, vintage antiques and more.

Relax in the parlor, add a prayer request or praise to a board or take advantage of the free wifi. Vintage Style removed the butcher paper from the windows to open up Thursday and will celebrate a ribbon cutting Friday at 10 a.m.

Vintage Style will have separate hours for the two parts of the business. The Mercantile will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be closed Sunday to Monday.

The Coffee Shop will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Girls Night Out is officially under way.
