Hunter and Gracie Cloud will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on May 28, 2023.

Mrs. Cloud is a wedding photographer and Mr. Cloud is a reporter for The Daily Leader.

The couple has no human children but two cats who might as well be children. Penny is a quiet girl who likes to sleep all day, and Bruno is the best hunting buddy a man could have. He is a good boy.

Lord willing and the Bayou Pierre don’t rise, this will be the first of many anniversaries.

The Clouds were wed on a special weekend in family history. Hunter’s great-grandparents Grady G. Wallace and Minnie Wallace of Bogue Chitto were wed on Memorial Day Weekend and a family reunion is held each year to celebrate the Wallace family.

“We of course love all of our family from Mississippi to Alabama, Kansas, Arkansas, Michigan and Nebraska and probably a few more states in-between,” the Clouds said.
