An Arrow Disposal Services employee got a little too “into” his work Monday.

A worker became stuck Monday morning when his foot was caught in the compacting area of the trash truck. The incident occurred on Hwy. 51 N near GT Collision & Accessories.

The Brookhaven Fire Department and KDMC Ambulance Service responded, as well as Emergency Management Director Chris Reid. Firefighters were able to extract the man’s foot from the vehicle, and EMTs determined he had suffered no  injuries.

It was unclear at the time if the man would immediately return to work.
