BROOKHAVEN — Printed Cotton Company is moving and expanding again. The store closed on Wednesday and is moving to 524 Schwem Avenue close to Dirt Cheap in Brookhaven.
Owner Lisa Breazeale said they will be able to take print orders on Monday but it could be another week before they have their store front open. They are expanding and growing from 2,000 to 7,000 square feet.
They first started at Davis and Co. before moving to the Breazeale’s house then onto Court Street where Sweat Gym is and to their location next to Hall & Company before this new move by Dirt Cheap. Breazeale said they had gotten better at moving over the years.
“We have gotten better. I feel like I can break the equipment down and move in my sleep,” Breazeale said. “We are really excited to be in the new location. We will expand our equipment and have more room.”
Something people might not know about Printed Cotton Company is they make custom t-shirts for the public for groups, businesses or individuals.
The company started in 2017 after Breazeale sold her company Zeal. Her parents had a printing company which gave a start to her idea for Printed Cotton Company. Six years later, the company is still going strong.
“It is always scary to take the next step,” Breazeale said. “We are expanding our wholesale. One of our main things is that the wholesale line is growing and expanding.”
