The Mississippi School of the Arts Foundation recently accepted a $5,000 donation from Georgia-Pacific Monticello to support the school’s junior and senior seminar classes.
“MSA is grateful to Georgia-Pacific for their longstanding support of our college and career readiness programs,” said MSA Executive Director Suzanne Hirsch. “The funding we receive provides students with classes to prepare them in the arts industry and life in general. We also provide guest artists and preparation programs for the ACT to the students at MSA. Students leave ready for their next step in life thanks to these programs and GP’s support.”
Georgia-Pacific primarily invests its resources in four key areas that are essential to creating and sustaining communities: education, environment, enrichment and entrepreneurship.
