BROOKHAVEN — Cooler mornings and evenings, shorter days and sunny weather. It is like fall is finally here.

Wednesday is forecast to be a sunny day with a high of 87 and a eastern breeze at 5 mph. Wednesday night will have a low of 60 with calm wind and a clear sky. Perfect timing with the harvest moon and starry skies.

There was no rain yesterday and no rain is in the forecast the rest of this week until this weekend. Saturday and Sunday will have a 20 percent chance of rain.
