Bears game moved to Franklin County

The Friday night football game between West Lincoln and Franklin County has been moved to Meadville.
The kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and had been originally scheduled to be played at West Lincoln on Perry Miller Field.
Franklin County is coached by former West Lincoln head coach BJ Smithhart. The teams were supposed to play last season in the opener, but a COVID-19 cancellation scratched that game.
West Lincoln tried to host a jamboree between storms last Friday and the field was resodded last year. Coach Brad Bland will hope for a little better playing surface by moving the game to Meadville.
