The Lincoln County School District has announced dress code reminders for parents making back-to-school clothing purchases.

“The current fashion trend is a short inseam that would not meet dress code,” said Superintendent David Martin. “The rule regarding length is the same as in previous years.”

Dresses, skirts and pants must be knee-length or longer when standing.

“The other rules and expectations for appropriate dress will remain as (they were) last year,” Martin said.

Dress codes and other School Board policies are available online at the district’s website, https://lcsd.k12.ms.us/.

“Be sure to follow your school’s social media regarding registrations and other announcements for the start of school,” Martin said. “Enjoy the next few weeks of summer break and we will see you all soon.”
