Brookhaven Police detectives are investigating snatch-and-grab and shoplifting thefts in local convenience stores.

“We’ve got video, and we’re in the process of ID-ing some suspects, presumed to be juveniles,” the detective said.

“We are researching ideas and statutes other cities are using to hold delinquent juveniles accountable through their parents,” Earls said. “We are looking into what has worked for other municipalities.”

“Please, please, report any and all suspicious activity,” Earls said.
