Memorial Day — Most government offices will be closed

A VFW-led Memorial Day observance will begin at 10 a.m. at the Lincoln County Veterans Memorial, in front of the Lincoln County/Brookhaven Government Complex.

Saturday, June 18

The first Juneteenth Arts & Crafts Community Event will be 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Fannie L. Mullen School. Anyone interested in a free vendor’s booth should call Bernetta Character at 601-757-8094. A limited number of spaces are available.
