Brookhaven Chamber banquet set for March 24

Homestead Whittington Farms will be the place to be March 24 when the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber banquet finally gets underway.
Because of past cancellations due to the pandemic, the chamber plans to recognize 2020 honorees and to present local award winners for 2021.
Awards given during the evening include local Educators of the Year, Officer of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Chamber Ambassador of the Year, Industry of the Year and Small Business of the Year for the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Area.
“Our board of directors and staff are excited to finally be able to host our banquet,” said the chamber’s program director, Katie Nations. “We are looking forward to a great evening of fellowship, food and celebration of our community.”
Nations said that current honorees and local elected officials are presented with a free ticket to the event. All others wishing to attend the celebration can contact the chamber at 601-833-1411 for tickets.
Music and mingling will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and the awards presentation will begin at 6:30.
