The Fielder’s Pro Shop Goin’ to Town Car Show Saturday saw 301 vehicles entered, a record number for the event.
“It was a great show. We had more than we’ve ever had,” said organizer and emcee T-Tommy Smith of Brookhaven. “We had a great turnout.”
Cars came from as far away as the Florida panhandle, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas. More than 300 door prizes were given out over the course of the show.
“We would really like the City of Brookhaven and all the cooperation they give us to make that show such a success,” Smith said. “The next show downtown will be during the Ole Brook Festival, the first Saturday of October. We’re also already making plans for next year’s spring show, on the first Saturday of March.”
