Southwest Mississippi residents can expect trash pickup delays this week due to Hurricane Ida.

Both Arrow Disposal Services and Waste Management have suspended garbage pickup services for Monday, which will push routes back by one day. Trash will be collected one day later than usual.

ADSI asks that customers put cans inside carports or garages, if possible, or in an area where they are unlikely to be washed or blown into roadways due to flash flooding or high winds.
