Members of the Wesson football team go through sprints after lifting weights Tuesday morning at the school. Coach Jeremy Loy and his team begin their season on Aug. 27 when they travel to face Tylertown.

They open the home portion of the schedule the next week when Franklin County visits on Sept. 3. Last year Wesson won Region 7-2A while posting an 8-3 overall record, but in 2021 they’ll move back up to the 3A ranks.
