Fallen officer to be honored by riders today

Photos courtesy Beyond the Call of Duty / Fallen Lincoln County correctional officer Marshall "Bem" London Jr. will be honored today at 4 p.m. at the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office by riders with Beyond the Call of Duty. A trailer displaying photos and names of fallen officers will be on display.

Nonprofit motorcyclist group Beyond the Call of Duty will be at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 3 p.m. Friday to honor the memory and service of LCSO corrections officer Marshall Lee “Bem” London Jr.

London died May 18, 2020.

The mission of Beyond the Call of Duty is to raise awareness of first responders lost in the line of duty and to support the families and communities of the fallen. As volunteer riders traverse the country, they travel with a large trailer displaying photos and brief bios of fallen first responders.
