Brookhaven police officers are working a series of burglaries and attempted burglaries in the city overnight Monday.

Residents along Kraner Lane reported two males running through backyards as officers pursued them around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police Chief Kenneth Collins said investigations are in progress.
