Claude Wayne Van Norman

Claude Wayne Van Norman passed away on January 5, 2021. He was born on August 18, 1945, to the late Robert Lester Van Norman Jr. and the late Erma Lee Blailock Van Norman Blades. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Hickman Van Norman of 50 years; son, Chauncey Wayne Van Norman and wife Nicole Aucoin Van Norman; two granddaughters, Haley Lin Van Norman and Breanna Marie Van Norman, brother; Robert Lester Van Norman III and wife Rita; sister, Beverly Lynn Davis and husband Iddo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Claude served in the Army National Guard and United States Air Force. He retired from Bell South after 27 years. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather. Claude enjoyed woodwork in his earlier days, was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed spoiling his granddaughters. He was known as the handyman of the Jaybrook Community and as the person that could fix anything.
Private family services were held on Saturday January 9, 2021, at Riverwood Cemetery.
