Windy conditions will make it feel like the polar express is headed into town. As clouds gradually clear this morning, a brisk northwesterly wind will make for a cold Monday afternoon. Winds of 10-15 mph will make temperatures in the 40s feel like the 30s. Some wind gusts could be as high as 25 mph.

Tonight will be very cold. With clear skies, overnight lows will fall into the mid-20s, ushering the first hard freeze for the area. Any outdoor plants that are susceptible to the cold should be brought inside or otherwise protected from the cold. Tuesday night should be equally as cold with temperatures falling into the upper-20s.

 Expect Tuesday to be sunny and cool. Afternoon highs in the lower 50s.
